So, an update should have been up sooner, but with everything going on in the world at the time of this post and the busy schoolwork I have been assigned, this is later than expected. But nevertheless, here's an update on the progress of this course.
So first off, I completely overhauled my blog. I replaced the stock photographs with some of my own. These photographs were taken from around my neighborhood. Also, I reorganized the tabs on the blog, getting rid of some that were not really needed and adding some important ones, such as giving cases studies their own tab rather than including them under research and planning.
In addition to reformatting my blog, I also added all the assignments that my partner and I have completed for our film-opening, including the first draft of the script, the storyboard, the pitch, and an analysis of the target audience survey. I implore you all to check out those things under the 'research and planning' tab to see the planning. Right now we are planning to spend the rest of January revising and making edits to the script and we are aiming for a February-March shoot, with post-production being done in mid/late march and early April.
I'll try to update this blog more frequently, but for now I'll be signing off. Oh, one more thing. Today I'll also be posting a reflection about how movie-making has changed since the introduction of the internet and CGI. Okay, until next time.
